Email marketing for agencies

Every client’s email, from one install

Each client is a separate brand with its own lists, its own sender details and its own sending account. One licence, no per-client fee, no per-contact fee.

Competitor prices read from their own pricing pages on 6 October 2026.

Why email gets expensive for agencies

The big platforms were built for one business with one list. An agency has many, and the bill multiplies with them:

  • Mailchimp bills on the total across all audiences, counts the same person twice if they are in two, and allows 5 audiences on Standard. Ten clients in one account means Premium.
  • MailerLite and Kit want a separate account per client, each with its own plan.
  • Brevo keeps sub-accounts for one master login on its Enterprise plan, priced by quote.
  • Klaviyo has no agency login: partners are invited into each client account.

So most agencies end up paying for, and logging into, one account per client.

Ten clients, 5,000 contacts each

Here is a real-sized example: ten clients with 5,000 contacts each, 50,000 in all, each emailed four times a month (200,000 emails).

SetupPer year
Mailchimp Standard, one account per client$12,000
Mailchimp Premium, one account with ten audiences$9,780
ActiveCampaign Plus, resold with the 25% agency discount$13,050
MailerLite Comfort, one account per client$5,292
BigMailer, a brand per client, on your own Amazon SES$1,140
ReplaMail Agency, year one: licence, SES and a server$1,269–$1,413
List prices read on 6 October 2026; MailerLite on yearly billing. ActiveCampaign’s discount applies from 2 resold accounts; whether it applies to yearly or monthly prices is not stated, and yearly is used here. ReplaMail: the $899 licence once, Amazon SES at $0.10 or $0.16 per 1,000, and about $130 of server. From year two it is sending and server only.

Two things stand out. First, a hosted service that runs on your own SES (BigMailer) is already far cheaper than the big names, so “cheapest” is not the only argument. Second, after year one ReplaMail costs about $370 a year at this size, and nothing more when you add the eleventh client.

How ReplaMail handles clients

A brand per client

  • Unlimited brands in one install
  • Each with its own from-name, address, reply-to, logo and postal footer
  • Contacts, lists, tags, blocked addresses and reports kept apart

Separate sending

  • Each brand can use its own sending account: SES for one, SMTP2GO for another
  • A reputation problem on one client never touches another
  • Bounces and spam complaints block the address for that client only
  • Amazon SES, SMTP2GO, Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark or any SMTP server

Connecting client sites

  • API keys locked to one brand for a client’s website or forms
  • Signed webhooks per event, a Zapier app and a Make app
  • Signup forms and landing pages per brand

Recipients only ever see the client: emails go out under the client’s name and address, and the signup forms, landing pages and unsubscribe pages show its name and logo, with no “powered by”. The app’s own name, logo and browser-tab icon are settings too, so your team and your clients see your service, not ours.

What it does not do for agencies, yet

Client billing

You invoice clients yourself. Sendy can charge clients per campaign through PayPal; MailWizz and Acelle sell plans to clients.

An all-clients report

Reports are per brand. There is no single view adding up every client.

Per-client email services

Only the owner connects a brand’s email service and its keys; a client with an editor sign-in builds and sends, but cannot see or change those keys.

That makes ReplaMail best for agencies that run email for their clients and invoice them directly: your team writes, schedules and reports, and each client can sign in to see their own brand.

  • Use it for client work, and install it on your clients’ own servers, as many as you like.
  • Complete source code, 12 months of updates, then $49 a year if you want more.

Questions agencies ask

What is the best email marketing setup for an agency?

It depends on who sends the invoices. If clients must be billed through the software, a reseller platform such as ActiveCampaign’s agency programme, or a self-hosted tool with client billing (Sendy, MailWizz, Acelle), fits. If you invoice clients yourself, one install with a brand per client, like ReplaMail, costs far less, and clients can still have their own sign-in.

How much does Mailchimp cost for an agency with ten clients?

At 5,000 contacts each, ten Standard accounts are $100 a month each: $12,000 a year. One Premium account with ten audiences at 50,000 contacts is $815 a month, $9,780 a year. US list prices, 6 October 2026.

Can my clients log in to ReplaMail?

Yes. Give each client their own sign-in, limited to their own brand, as an editor (they can build and send) or a viewer (they can look at reports and change nothing). They never see your other clients. Your own team can have every brand.

Is ReplaMail white label?

Yes, for everyone who sees it. Recipients never see ReplaMail: emails and the public pages show only the client’s brand. Under Settings you set the name, logo and browser-tab icon on the sign-in page and throughout the app. Only technical names other software relies on, such as webhook header names, keep the ReplaMail name.

Can I bill clients through ReplaMail?

No. There is no client billing; you invoice clients yourself. Sendy, MailWizz and Acelle have billing built in, if that matters more than the rest.

Which ReplaMail licence does an agency need?

The Agency licence, $899 once. It covers client work, including installing ReplaMail on your clients’ own servers, as many as you like.

Run every client from one install.

$899 once for the Agency licence. Unlimited brands, unlimited contacts, each client on its own sending account.
